Second National level training of master trainers held

Second National level training of master trainers for implementation of maternal nutrition package by frontline health workers in routine ANC was conducted by NCEARD in collaboration with Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Delhi. The one-day training was held on January 9, 2020.

Second National level training of master trainers for implementation of maternal nutrition package by frontline health workers in routine ANC was conducted by NCEARD in collaboration with Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Delhi. The one-day training was held on January 7, 2020. Information on 5 Action points - Nutritional Assessment, Give, Counsel, Classify nutritional risks and Actions by nutritional risks was provided followed by hands-on training on Anthropometric measurements and clinical assessments. Participants from 11 districts of Delhi were present for the training. A mock counselling session was conducted by NCEARD during the training with active participation of MOs/ANMs/PHNs using at-risk cards, by gestational month cards and recipe books to cater individual and group counseling on PMSMA day on January 9, 2020 at select ANC OPDs.
